Ghanaian music producer, Morris Babyface, has reaffirmed his decision to stop producing secular music, insisting that no financial offer can convince him to return to that space.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM on December 10, 2025, Morris explained that although he has no issues with people playing the secular hits he previously produced, he has made a personal commitment to focus solely on gospel music.

“I don’t have any problem with anyone playing the secular songs I produced. It reminds me of where I started from and where God has placed me in life,” he said.

Morris disclosed that many secular artistes still approach him for production, with some even attempting to entice him with money, but he continues to decline.

“A lot of secular musicians come to me to produce their songs but I told them I no longer do that. Artistes who got their hits from the music I produced often come and try to bribe me with money but I declined the offer.

“No amount of money can make me produce secular songs anymore,” he stressed.

He shared that he has resolved to work exclusively on gospel projects, encouraging secular artistes who still want to collaborate with him to switch genres.

“I decided to produce only gospel songs so if they want to still work with me, they should also divert to gospel. I’m not saying secular music is a sin but it’s a personal decision. No secular song has a better message than gospel songs,” he added.
