ACE GOSPEL Musician Evangelist Diana Asamoah has vehemently rebuffed reports that she is not on talking terms with her mother and that they do not see eye to eye.
The gospel singer insisted she was getting on well with her mother, adding that there was not an iota of truth in the widely-spread reports that she and her mum were having a strained relationship that could end up in fisticuffs.
The ace musician spoke about the issue during the official launch of her seventh album, ‘Awurade Da Mu Fua’ in Kumasi.
To prove she was speaking the truth, Evangelist Asamoah invited both her mother and father to be part of the historic occasion held at Bantama CAC last Sunday.
The musician, who looked disturbed about the report, called her parents to the podium and said, “These are my real parents, my father and mother.”
Evangelist Asamoah added: “This is my dear mother who some media houses are spreading falsehood that I don’t speak to.
If there is a problem between me and my mother, then why is she here to support me?”
Evangelist Asamoah reiterated that there was no bad blood between her and the mother, asking again, “Why should someone like me who preaches the word of God refuse to talk to my mother?”
She said she was a true Christian who abided by what the Holy Bible preached and would never do anything that God abhorred.
