Nino Agyemang to lift Ghana at UK’s 11th Screen Nation Awards

Ghana’s award winning singer, Nino has been confirmed to perform at this year’s edition of Screen Nation Film & Television Awards in the United Kingdom (UK) March 19.

The Screen Nation Awards is the first & only industry related film & television awards event celebrating the leading professionals of African Diaspora heritage from the UK.

Special Honorees for this year award are Hollywood action icon Wesley Snipes and veteran trailblazing actress and star of Desmond’s and much more, Carmen Munroe.

The award ceremony is the 11th edition and would take place across two floors of the 4 star Hilton London Metropole. It would also be streamed live for the first time and later broadcast on African Movie Channel (AMC).

Hosted by Brenda Emmanus and Kojo Akoto, it would be attended a number of UK popular stars including Beasts of No Nation actor, Idris Elba and also feature performances from great musician including FLoetic Lara, Ashley Abigo, Reggae Choir and Ghana’s Nino among others.

Nino is a Ghanaian opera singer who is gradually gaining endorsement around the world. He is described as a musician with a mystique unlike his contemporaries. His talent received praises personalities such as British ambassador to Ghana; Jon Benjamin, R&B musician: Iyaz, Italian ambassador to Ghana; Laura Carpini and Ghana’s music maestro Kojo Antwi among others.
