New "Model Of The Universe" Crowned

Twenty-one year old Maame Serwaa Boakye last night won the title of Model of the Universe - an event organized to select Ghana’s representative for the World edition of the pageant scheduled for later this year.

The clean-shaven young woman who upset twenty-one other contestants for the title will now have the opportunity to develop a career in modeling at the Platinum Modeling Agency in London.

An elated Maame Serwaa told JOY FM after her win that the decision to shave her head was planned at the last minute to brighten her chances of wearing the crown.

Model of the Universe organizers, First Royale are looking forward to improving the quality of the event as they prepare for the World Stage of the contest. The spokesperson Akosua Puni says First Royale will now concentrate on facilitating Ghana’s hosting of the World Edition of the Model of the Universe in November this year.
