Ghanaian husband-and-wife worship duo Patrick and Joy Ayertey, popularly known as Need Worship, have officially released their latest single titled “Overflow,” featuring gospel minister Joseph Gordon also know as Abeiku, member of the popular Team Eternity gospel group.
The new release continues the duo’s growing impact within the gospel music scene following a remarkable season of ministry, collaborations, and worship projects. Over the years, Need Worship has gained recognition for their heartfelt worship sound and consistent dedication to spreading the message of Jesus Christ through music.
“Overflow” comes after the release of their 2025 single “Swimming” and follows major collaborations in 2024 with celebrated gospel artistes including Joe Mettle and MOGMusic.
According to Need Worship, the inspiration behind “Overflow” reflects spiritual growth and deeper intimacy with God. The duo explained that while “Swimming” symbolized being immersed in God’s glory, “Overflow” represents reaching a place of abundance, fullness, and total surrender in God’s presence.
“Our prayer is that everyone who listens to ‘Overflow’ experiences a genuine encounter with the Holy Spirit,” Patrick and Joy shared. “We believe this is a season where God’s people must experience His presence beyond expectations.”
Since launching their ministry during the pandemic, Need Worship has ministered to thousands globally through online worship sessions and digital platforms. Their ministry journey has produced songs such as “Take Glory” and projects like Sounds from the Secret Place, all centered on worship, hope, faith, and spiritual transformation.
Featuring Joseph Gordon, “Overflow” combines rich worship melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and a spiritually uplifting sound aimed at drawing listeners into deeper worship and reflection.
The song is currently available on YouTube and all major streaming platforms.
