The flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Akuffo Addo, in his recent meeting with the entertainment players in his Nima residence in Accra, has said that his government is going to make sure the entertainment industry in Ghana will be more of business to be able to compete with the outside world.

According to Willi Roi, who was part of the meeting in an interview with Anning Ogee Oscar on Bekwai based Dess FM 90.3 over the weekend, Nana Addo called them to listen to their concerns in a one on one interaction.

"Nana Addo called us to listen to us about our concerns in the industry. So we from the music, movie, and the creative industry, in general, put before him how we want the industry to be. He said his government will make the creative arts industry more of business than fame to be able to compete with the outside world. So the meeting wasn't like he suggesting for us. It was a one on one interaction. He said he will form a committee out of us to put our ideas we shared with him into writing for him to factor in his plans. Actually, it was a very good interaction with him."

He, however, rubbished claims that those who had a date with Nana Addo are part of the NPP, saying those claims should be treated a trash and not to be given a hearing.

Among the artistes who met Nana Akuffo Addo in his Nima residence in Accra are, Obour, Socrates Sarfo, KKD, Mark Okraku Mantey, Bola Ray, Willi Roi, just to mention a few.
