Nacy Chats With Fans On Facebook For 10 Hours

Fans of Nana Kweku Osei aka Nacy, Chief executive officer of Nacy Recordz and president of No Tribe have never been so happy with him before like last Saturday when he spent 10hrs out of his busy schedule to chat with his friends both on facebook and on the phone.

The information came about when he wrote on his facebook wall some days back that he will be spending quality time with his fans on facebook on Saturday from 1:30pm till he will feel exhausted to chat no more. This information was also repeated on Happy fm and Peace fm on Saturday but Nacy did not speak himself on the issue which prompted reporters of Flex newspaper to follow up the process of chatting with his close to 4000 friends.

When this reporter got to Nacy`s office located at Mataheko Yellow kiosk around 2pm, Nacy told this reporter that he had even started before he walked into his office. So we asked: Why is Nacy not recording or singing today but has decided to mingle with his fans on the same day that Manchester was playing with Barcelona in their final match. “The secret is that we should not create any gap between us and our fans because we think we are stars. The fans are the people who make us who we are so I don`t see the reason we should shy away from them. Ever since I joined the social network platform called facebook, I have never enjoyed any live chat before. Meanwhile, people keep sending messages and writing on my wall expressing how they like and love my works.

To meet their expectation, I thought the best thing I could do was to fix a day solely for my fans so I can get to know what they think and feel about me. For the past minutes that I have been chatting with them, I have realized how important that is to my career and my dreams. If I happen to have over 4000 people who will recommend my works to other people all the time, then what it means is that whatever I will touch will have good returns in my business” Nacy responded.

Right after the Barcelona: Manchester United match around 9pm that same evening, this writer decided to check on Nacy again to verify if he was still on line with his fans, and to his astonishment he was still enjoying quality time with this fans all over the world. So what is keeping Nacy`s interest to this far?

“The funniest thing is that just as you are about to end with somebody thinking that will be the end of it all, another person will also surface with a “hi” or a “hello” which you will not be able to ignore. One problem was also time difference in the foreign countries, some are closing from work and others are now seeing day light.

I must say that it has been fun filled and I feel satisfied and tired at the same time. Economically, it has also started some business deliberations which every business person like me would want. I am so grateful to everybody who said “hi” to me as well as all media people who supported the campaign. I have another big surprise for my fans soon which will be posted on my facebook wall very soon so they should watch out” he added.

Did Nacy encounter some funny times that he would love to share? “Oh yes, I remember one lady who said her rice got burnt because she was chatting with me and another who was sad, but after chatting with me for a while, he became so happy” he revealed.
