Ghanaian reggae presenter, Blakk Rasta, has said that embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, was going around dashing money to people, a reason he is unable to pay back locked up investment.

His comments follow the inability of gold dealership firm, Menzgold to pay its customers their locked up investments and dividends.

In a video YEN.com.gh sighted on the Instagram page of @rumorsandgossipsgh, the host of 'Taxi Driver' show on Zylofon FM was heard providing reasons why his boss has not been able to pay customers back their investment.

In the video which seemed like Blakk Rasta was being interviewed, the 'Kuchoko' reggae legend said, "Let me tell you something, if Nana Appiah was to get all the money owed him by people, like he will pay his customers three times".

Blakk Rasta continued to say in twi "The money he took, what did he use it for? He gave it out to people" "We in the office saw how pregnant women were coming there to take money, people who didn't know him, cripples were coming, shoe shine boys were coming for money. He was just walking around and dashing out money", he added.

The 'Barack Obama' hitmaker continued to express his opinion about the Menzgold saga and said "NAM 1 is a very passionate person just that may be he didn't use the right scheme".

Blakk Rasta who doubles as a reggae musician, is one of the many celebrities employed by Nana Appiah Mensah to work for his radio station, Zylofon FM.

Since the Menzgold fallout, Blakk Rasta has been on couple of platforms trying to defend his boss as well as claim that he is not a scammer as rumored by many. In the video, Blakk Rasta said that he does not think Nana Appiah Mensah was trying to defraud Ghanaians with his gold dealership business.

"I don't believe that he robbed people. He had a good mind. If he wanted to scam people, he won't go to Dubai with the intention of looking for the money to come and pay his customers", he claimed. YEN.com.gh published that CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah had been arrested in Dubai at a time the court issued a warrant for his arrest.

The embattled CEO was said to be in Dubai because he was searching for money to pay his customers who are aggrieved due to the collapse of Menzgold.

As it stands, no one knows if he has raised the money that he was going to search for in Dubai. Meanwhile the police are still investigating the issue to unravel the mystery behind Menzgold and its fallout.
