There is no doubt that this year has been a good one for female dancehall artiste, MzVee.

Right after being nominated for this year’s BET Viewer's Choice "Best International" category the Borkor borkor rapper has bagged collaboration with sultry songstress Efya of forgetting me fame.

The song dubbed "Abofra", produced by Richie of Lynx entertainment is set to be released on Monday.

For MzVee, the collaboration is a step in the right direction since it will provide the platform for her to learn new things from someone she has been admiring for a very long time, someone who inspires her and motivates her to always give her best in whatever she does.

“It just a dream come true and I am very excited that I have such an amazing person on this song, and I really want to thank her for not saying no rather throwing her weight behind me and devoting her time for this to happen,” she said.

MzVee is quoted to have said in an interview with Sammy Forson on Live FM that;

“Right now, honestly speaking Efya , she is super hardworking. I remember the first time I met her, she was wearing shorts and a big T-Shirt. It was around 2am and she was in the studio trying to write song. That was when I saw her and was like chale I have to try and do this for myself. She is amazing.”

Though the song will be officially released on Monday, MzVee said she was optimistic it will be another “banger” from her and so she and Efya would be giving fans a taste of it when they mount the stage of The Loaded Party event which will be held at that Lizzy Complex this Saturday.

“This is a song that was carefully done and I believe that when it finally comes out, it will continue to linger in the ears of people. With Efya on any song, you should always expect a hit. This is because Efya will not just jump on any song unless it touches her and she is convinced that it will make an impact,” she added.
