Mzbel was the queen of Africa, as big as Tiwa Savage – Tic

Veteran HipLife musician Tic Tac, now Tic, has revealed that during his reign in the African music arena his fellow Hiplife act Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel was the Queen of the African Music domain.

Speaking to Sammy Flex on the September 25 episode of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon FM, the multiple award-winning musician compared Mzbel’s fame to the likes of Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade.

“Mzbel was the queen of Africa… Mzbel was like Yemi Alade or Tiwa Savage… I once spoke to Mzbel and I told her ‘Mzbel you are a queen in Liberia, Serrie Leone, Serrie Leone was worst.”

Tic also added that most Ghanaian songs make an impact in other parts of Africa but we never know.

Tic has released a part two of his all-time hit song “Kwani Kwani”, on which he features Lynx Entertainment act Kuami Eugene.
