MzVee to rock Hennessy Artistry Concert on October 18

The ‘Borkor Borkor’ crooner, popularly known as MzVee has made it known to this reporter that her fans will see what she has never unveiled to them about her ability to make them feel tipsy with her performance at the oncoming Hennessy Artistry concert, which is slated to take place at the famous Accra International Conference Center.

It is no more news that MzVee made the list of the outstanding artistes that would perform on the 18th of October alongside 2Face, Wizkid, Mafikizolo, Edem, 4x4, MzVee.

Born Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, the Keta born cutie, is a student at Ghana Telecom University and was formerly the lead singer in girl group, D3 until she went solo.

The scintillating Vera started singing just few years ago, and it is remarkable how much progress she has made within a short period.

Her vocal ability, good looks and graceful stage presence has landed her collaborations with the likes of multiple award-winning producers, Richie Mensah, Afriyie (formerly of Wutah), Ayigbe Edem and Okyeame Kwame.

She also has to her credit two covers of dancehall songs: ‘Harmattan’ and ‘Hole’ which was preceded by the release of her debut single ‘Borkor Borkor’ which featured VIP, among others. She has also performed solo on many big stages including the Okyeame Kwame Versatile Show, as well as Richie Mensah's, “This is Love Concert.”

She has also won the hearts of the older demographic of music fans with her well-noted humility, good behaviour and again with her impeccable talent.

Hennessy Artistry is an annual famed global music campaign, designed with the sole aim of promoting the art of mixing various genres of tunes and blending the talents of the world’s top artistes for the world to appreciate and enjoy.

According to the organisers, fans can also win free tickets during musical adventures by the brand to selected clubs in Accra for customers to win tickets. The parties will come up on October 3 at the Hollywood Boulevard and October 10 at Shisha Lounge.
