My presence around men makes people nervous - Mzbel

Ghanaian musician Mzbel has said that people are intimidated by her presence when she is around men they like.

The singer was responding to questions about some weird comments she has heard about herself.

“It’s true any man I’m free with or friends with they’ll think oh there’s something going on even if I’m free with the Pope right now, they will think something is going on,” she said in an interview with Joy Prime.

She stated that it was due to these perceptions that most organizations and stakeholders declined to sponsor her projects.

Meanwhile, Diamond Appiah in a recent media interview has said that she and Mzbel could not ever be friends.

“I don’t think there would be a day like that. I don’t have any problem with her, I have forgiven her, I have moved on. She is not the type of person I would love to hang around with me again. I am very honest and straightforward, I don’t hide my feelings,” she stated.

The two best friends fell out and collided with each other on both social media and on some local radio stations a few years ago and have not spoken to each other.
