Christabel Ekeh has got the world talking once again, for some time now – after her totally nude photos went viral last week – triggering rumors of bipolar disorder and other mental-related illness.
The ‘Potomanto’ actress who has affirmed she is aware of the public ridicule surrounding the photos, has stated that her nudity is her pride and not her shame as being purported.
“I would like everyone to know that in as much as its looks shameful or whatever, my nudity is something that I’ve come to learn its my pride and not my shame,” she said.
“I had a group of people who have been threatening to release my nudity that I sent to someone in private,” she added during an interview with Abeiku Santana on Accra-based Okay 101.7 FM‘s drive time show ‘Ekwanso Dwoodwoo’ on Monday.
According to Christabel who sounded beset by this also revealed “this thing has been something that has been boggling me for a while – hanging around my head in everything that I do.”
However, host Abeiku Santana counselled her to stay off her phone for some time – which will include been denied access to phone calls, social media, etc. – in order to give more importance to her new project. She wholeheartedly agreed to this advice stating that “its the best thing I am going to do right now.”
She also took the opportunity to debunk canards that she is not mentally stable following her recent actions.
“Some people have been spreading lies that I'm not well, but I am well,” she mentioned.
