My Life Is In Danger - Agya Koo

Actor Kofi Adu, also known as Agya Koo, has stated that some persons in the movie industry are after his life. “These people are jealous of me because of my massive success in the movie industry so they have decided to take my life,” he alleged.

He has therefore appealed for fervent prayers from Christians and Muslims to save his dear life. Agya Koo, who would not mention names of those he claimed were after his life, said, “They also want me to get paralyzed or humiliated. He said his attackers were using both spiritual and physical means to carry out their demonic plans. He made this shocking disclosure to News-One in an exclusive interview at Golden Tulip, Kumasi recently. According to him, he was a staunch Christian who did not take his Christian life, especially prayers lightly. Agya Koo disclosed that a pastor friend, whose identity he would not disclose revealed the diabolic plans of his enemies to him.

He said the pastor was a very prayerful person and it was God who revealed the plans of his (Agya Koo’s) enemies to him during prayers. Asked whether he got scared after the revelation, Agya Koo retorted that he had faith in God who guided him to the top so he was not afraid. “The God that brought me to where I am would not let me down because I have put all my trust I him and nobody else.

Agya Koo disclosed that there was no love among actors in the Ghanaian movie industry now. He noted that the industry was now full of people who “want to pull others down to take over”. Agya Koo claimed, “these people who want to pull me down know they can’t compete with me so they want to use foul means to overtake me.” He said his enemies in the move industry wished that he would get paralyzed and become bed-ridden, leading to his retirement from acting.
