Musician to Help Rural Areas

Esther Smith, a gospel musician, plans to give live performances in 50 churches to raise funds towards developing the rural areas.

Speaking with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Bekwai in Ashanti said she had heard much about deprivation in some communities in the Amansie East District and seeks to raise funds for the development of the communities.

Miss Smith said it was about time talented people and professionals in the country contributed their quota to national development.

She said she would perform at Afoakwa, Kokofu, Ayinase and Aboabo in the Bekwai constituency and appealed to the people to patronise the concerts and contribute generously.
