Musician saved from the spell of witchcraft

A highlife musician known in private life as Kofi Dada Boadu but popularly known as K.B aka Opabene has been saved from the spell of witchcraft.

Opabene who started singing 16- years ago was introduced into professional singing by a renowned musician called Stephen Annan, who had a musical group called S. Boys. Opabene, after knowing how much it would cost him to come out with his first professional demo, fell on his grandfather Opanyin Kwame Boadu who accepted to assist him financially.

He then came out with his debut demo recorded by Ato Annan Acheampong and Stephen Annan as backing vocalist.

Kofi Boadu's predicament started when one morning, one of his aunts who happened to be a fetish priest called Okomfo Asumaniwaa popularly known as Trado Komfo of Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region of Ghana sent for him through another aunt of his called Yaa Adusa, to listen to a revelation she had about him.

Kofi Badu now Opabene then took a French leave as he was in hurry to go to her aunt who possesses super magical powers as a sign of respect.

As he got to his aunt at the shrine in Nkawkaw, Okomfo Asumaniwaa welcomed him and told him that, she had seen in the spiritual realm that, he had a gift as a musician and he was bound to be a very popular musician that Ghana would ever have.

Kofi Boadu upon hearing this became swollen headed, although he was a little bit astonished because none of his family members knew anything about his musical career until this fetish priestess was able to reveal it to him. Afterwards, a very scrumptious meal was prepared at the shrine for him which he ate to his satisfaction.

Immediately Opabene returned to Accra, he started experiencing severe pains which led to cardiac arrest; this was around the year 1997. He tried the hospital for only God knows how long and how many hospitals he did attend.

He then visited a native doctor in the Volta Region, Hohoe to be precise. He was told that her aunt who sent for him sometime back was responsible for his sickness.

Togbe, treated Kofi for about ten months and when Kofi realized he was getting healed, he then moved from one place to the other. He later visited Odiyifo Kwame prayer Camp in Gomoa Fete Kakraba, when his step father died and he went for the funeral and under the funeral, a spirit 'entered' a man who confessed to the whole people gathered there that his sickness was as a result of shear envy by her auntie Okomfo Asumaniwaa.

This became a serious issue that was sent to Kwahu Nifa Hene's palace at Obo. A lot of fetish priests were contracted to find out the truth in the matter and anytime they visited the spirits, it turns out that her auntie was responsible for his sickness.

The short and long of it is that, the auntie refused to heal Opabene and the fetish priests could not also help him so he had to turn to God for healings at Mile 14 New Jerusalem Prayer Camp at the Akuapem North, in 2013 headed by Prophet Elder Edward Kobbina. Now Opabene who is now a highlife artiste has been healed and has gained his voice back, feels no pain. He gives thanks to God who loved him and gave him life and refused the devil to destroy him.
