Veteran musician- Akosua Agyapong - who is a Music Council member has revealed they as an association cannot defend embattled member Ekow Micah.

Speaking to Dr Cann on Showbiz Xtra on Happy FM, Akosua said;

“We don’t have all the facts regarding his dealings with Asamoah Gyan. So we are waiting for the law to take its course so we see what we can also do. But remember it has nothing to do with music. It’s a personal decision he took, so we are not coming in strongly because it’s not like he called a musician and tried to swindle him. If it was music related, I would have had something to say about it but we don’t know anything about this. It has nothing to do with music.”

Ekow Micah was arrested for allegedly trying to extort money from Asamoah Gyan's camp in order not to release the Black Stars captain's alleged sex tape with one Sarah Kwablah.

A substance suspected to be indian hemp was found in his room during a search by Ghana Police and he might be locked in the cooler for about 5 years if proven guilty.

Asamoah Gyan is known for his smash hit collaborations with Castro on Odo Pa and African Girls.
