Mr Beautiful Mr Beautiful

One of the fast rising film producers in Kumasi, Mr. Daniel Kwadwo Sarfo Tyson, has fired salvos at controversial actor Clement Bonney for saying his absence on screen has slowed down the sales of local movies in Kumasi.

According to Sarfo Tyson, Clement Bonney popularly known as Mr. Beautiful comment is unfortunate and must be treated with the contempt it deserves.

Clement Bonney known during the week granted an interview on Onua fm and stated his absence has reduced the quality of movies produced in the Ashanti Region.

Mr. Beautiful openly declared his political support during the 2012 general elections to the current president His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to Mr. Beautiful, ever since he declared His support for the president years ago, producers in the Ashanti region have neglected him and have refused to cast him for any movie.

But reacting to his comments, the bankroller of Peace and Love Production Mr. Sarfo Tyson refuted the allegations that the sales of movies in Kumasi has gone down due to the absence of Mr. Beautiful.

According to him, Mr. Beautiful has never been relevant in the movie industry so he finds it difficult to understand why he made that comment.

"I must say Mr beautiful was not part of the icons who made things run in Kumasi, he is not one of the actors whose movies pulls money on the market," he told Nhyira FM on Saturday.

Sarfo Tyson told Papa Nyamekye on Entertainment Power that, Mr. Beautiful is suffering from credibility crisis. "I think he ignorant about what is happening on the market," he added.

He further admitted that the sales of movies on the market has fallen but not because of the absence of Mr. Beautiful but rather the energy crisis that has been bothering the country.
