Popular media personality and Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority Abeiku Santana has sparked conversations with his take on the relationship between men, women and money.

Speaking during a lighthearted discussion on Hitz FM on March 31, Abeiku Santana referenced the Book of Genesis, suggesting that man's toil and suffering after disobeying God in the Garden of Eden were designed to benefit women.

"If you read Genesis chapter 1, after man disobeyed God, their punishment was that man would suffer. All men's suffering, women enjoy. God said that you will labour, and in all your labour, the women will enjoy," he said during the discussion with Andy Dosty.

The veteran broadcaster further stated that women were the very purpose of money itself.

"Money was created for women. Men work for the money, but women enjoy it," he quipped.

However, Abeiku Santana noted that financial success, at least, brings its own reward.

"When you are a man and you get money, you will have your peace of mind," he added.

The remarks drew laughs from those present and have since generated buzz online.
