Multiple award-winning actor, Edward Agyekum Kufuor has stated that money is not his ultimate reason for acting,
In an interview on ATUU with Abieku Santana, the actor who doubles as a reverend minister noted that he acts because he has a passion for the job.
According to him, he sometimes acts without taking a salary, stating, "I have been playing a lot of roles without charging, I sometimes even go on set with my own costume. If it was about the money, I would charge a lot... I have a passion for acting, that is why I don't charge producers for my role," he said.
He further called on Kumawood directors and producers such as Akabenezer and Jackson K. Bentum to give him a role in their movies.
"I can act with Kumawood producers and actors, and I would love to work with them... I encourage them to involve me in their roles because I am a versatile actor and I have even played a role where I was a madman," he added.
When asked if he had acted in a romantic role he said "Oh yeah, I have accepted so many romantic roles but I try my best to keep it professional, if some scenes involve a lot of nudity, I speak to the director about it," he said.
