Moët & Chandon to mark 270 years with two-week festival

Moët & Chandon, the world’s most-loved champagne brand is 270 years old. There are series of activities to mark the event.

The two-week festival begins from Monday November 25 and ends on Saturday December 7.

The festival is under the theme ‘Success is a Matter of Style” and starts with a Champagne cinema night at the Le Must Restaurant in Labone, a 100 people only setting.

Moet & Chandon’s range of champagnes including Imperial, Rose, Nectar and Nectar Rose is available across different hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, lounges and liquor shops in Ghana.

“The Moet & Chandon Golden Night showcases off the brand’s key ethos; represented by glamour, style, generosity and success. This special night is organized primarily to thank customers of Imexco Ghana Limited for their loyal patronage of the brand throughout the years by treating them to an unforgettable glamorous experience.”

“It is also a night whereby Moet & Chandon demonstrates a philanthropic spirit by raising funds for charity.

“For over a quarter of a millennium, the renowned French winemaker has been sharing the magic of champagne across the globe.

“Every glass overflows with the House’ hallmark values of history, generosity, savoir-faire, success, boldness and elegance – values still at the heart of its global appeal. Towards the end of the 18th century, Jean- Remy Moet, grandson of founder Claude Moet, became famous as the man who introduced champagne to the world.

“The important figures of the era, from the Marquise de Pompadour to Talleyrand, to Napoleon, quickly fell in love with the House’ effervescent wine. Moet & Chandon was soon the icon of success and elegance that it remains to this day.”

Till date, it has and continues to be the champagne brand for all seasons. The two-week festival and its side attractions will largely prove why.
