The 63rd edition of the Miss World pageant gets exciting each passing day.
Over the weekend, all eleven finalists of the Beach Fashion Challenge including Ghana’s Naa Okailey Shooter were taken to a secluded beach for an exclusive photoshoot session.
Worked on by a popular Indonesian Photographer, the 11 took turns to pose for their best shots.
The ultimate winner will be announced during the finals on September 28.
Heavy on activity, this year’s has seen the contestants visit some of the most alluring tourist sites in the Asian country, their recent being the Safari and Marine Park in Bali.
“It was a wonderful experience,” says Ghana’s Naa Okailey Shooter. “The Indonesian people are lovely, and receptive.”
The contestants have also held their Sports Challenge, with Naa’s team, Team Yellow, winning three out of four challenges on the day. However, only one of the team members will be adjudged winner of the Sports Challenge on September 28.
Among other exciting engagements, they’ve had night shopping bazaars, ate at some of the best restaurants in Indonesia, and explored Indonesian culture.
In a related development, the finals of this year’s event will be held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre as against the initial plan of hosting it at the Sentul International Convention Center, in Jakarta.
Nusa Dua is the largest indoor venue in Bali, and has a seating capacity of 4,500, half of the former venue.
