Miriam and Maria return for Talented Kids Season X

Tv3 Ghana on Sunday 24th February officially unveiled the contestants 10 season of the child reality and talent discovery show ‘Talented Kids’ at the West Hills mall at Weija, Accra.

The unveiling ceremony featured a carefully choreographed performance by the 26 contestants for this season doing a piece in honour of the past nine (9) winners of the show, as well as exciting performances from 1st and 2nd runner ups from season 9, Peniel Dodoo and Hakeem Commander, and Naquel from season 8. One of the major highlights of the night was an energetic performance by the reigning champion of Talented Kids, Samuel Owusu aka Young King Clef.

Season 10 also dubbed Talented Kids X sees the return of 3fm’s award winning mid-morning show ‘Urban Blend’ host, Tv3 entertainment news anchor, co-founder of ‘Readbook Lib Gh’ a rural education initiative and host of season 9 Miriam Osei-Agyemang along with her co-host Maria Yayra Mensah Potela.

With a spectacular ‘X’ themed new set design, an array of talents and mouth-watering prizes up for grabs, season 10 of Talented kids is sure to be the best viewers have ever seen since its inception.

The host of the show Miriam Osei – Agyemang says this season will feature amongst others a female Dj, saxophonists, acrobats, magicians and female rappers, she anticipate that the judges will face their toughest challenge yet because all the contestants are bringing on their ‘A’ game into the show.

Some contestant however, were shown the exit on Sunday as four contestants were evicted after their performances failed to impress the judges and audience. The remaining 22 will battle it out in the coming weeks to justify their inclusion on the show.

The winner of Talented Kids season X takes away a cash prize of GH 10,000 cedis, an education fund worth GH 15,000, a fun all expense trip to Dubai and souvenirs from sponsors. The show is sponsored by Dusk Capital, Vita Fruit juice, Kiddy Pack from Kasapreko, GTP, Ena Pa Mackerel, Indomie, Deluxy acrylic paint, RT home planners and construction, Heaven Black insecticide spray and coil, British Colombia College and Mavis mosquito coil.
