Mina says bye-bye to MTN Hitmaker

After another week of suspense, followers of the MTN hit-Maker 3 music contest were over the weekend treated to thrilling musical performances, after which they were served the heart-breaking news that Mina had been evicted.

Mimi was part of the final six contestants, out of whom two were to be evicted so that the remaining four would compete at the grand finale on November 28 at the National Theatre in Accra.

The final evictee will be announced this week.MTN and Farmhouse Productions have announced that the final winner will get a recording and artiste management deal worth GH¢100,000.

On episode 10, actress and TV presenter Joselyn Dumas was guest judge alongside the three regular judges for the competition—Bessa Simons, a seasoned producer and keyboardist who is also the Vice President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA); Ofie Kodjoe, a renowned singer and composer; and Edward Nana Poku Osei,aka Hammer,Ghana’s celebrated sound engineer and producer.
