Medikal, Fella's actions show they're immature - Ambassador Romeo

As the discord between Ghanaian rapper Medikal and actress Fella Makafui is still being debated in the public domain, entertainment pundit and event organizer Ambassador Romeo has weighed in on the controversy.

In a discussion on E-Forum on GhanaWeb TV, he stated that the actions of the couple prove that they both lack maturity. He stressed that they should have solved whatever issue they had privately.

He, however, said Medikal's decision to share details of the dispute on social media could have been a result of a bruised ego due to Fella's actions in public.

He mentioned how Fella’s attendance at a party hosted by D-Black, where she allegedly smoked, could have been seen as disrespectful to Medikal, prompting his reactions.

Ambassador Romeo further accused the families of both Medikal and Fella of not being proactive in resolving the issue before it went public.

“I think her actions hurt his ego. If you look at all these narrations Medikal has been giving on social media, along with the fact that she went to a D-Black party and smoked with D-Black after all Medikal has done for her, I think that hurt his ego.

“And maybe that’s why he went on social media; he wanted public sentiments so that if there was any police case, he could have public support.

“This highlights the immaturity between the two and also the unseriousness of both families as well. The families could have come to salvage this issue before it became public,” Romeo told show host Abrantepa.

He further pointed out that many non-celebrity couples face marital challenges without resorting to public disclosure and wondered how reconciliation may be possible.

“Many couples are not even celebrities who have marital issues but have been able to keep it private, and we know that whatever you put on the internet never goes away. So if there is an opportunity to even reconcile, how do you take back those harsh words? How do you repair it?” he asked.

What happened
