Do you remember the gospel artiste who had a smash hit with his first release, Awurade Bohye featuring Mama Cynthia of Daughters of Glorious Jesus fame in 2008? Well after six years of monitoring and preparations, Martin Hayford is ready to bounce back with a new album coming December.

The seven – track album which for best reasons known to the artiste has had its title kept from the public, is said to have collaborations from Mama Cynthia, Naa Dromo Ollenu and Mrs Eunice Tornyi and according to Martin, it is powerfully packed.
Martin Hayford like any other started his ministration from childhood, and driven with passion and the mercies of the Lord, came into mainstream music in 2008. He is currently the president of Martin Hayford Outreach International and in partnership with Dromo Foundation, headed by Naa Dromo Ollenu, has been a blessing onto the less privileged ones especially women and children.

The Martin Hayford Outreach International reaches out to rural areas to preach the gospel through songs and the word of God and by virtue of that, win souls for Christ. Any soul won, according to Martin, that has a peculiar problem is taken up by the Dromo Foundation who on their part resolves the situation.

As part of every rising talent, having problems with finances, Martin is no different but has all hope that, his next album will be a huge hit. “We are very optimistic about the next album, I and Naa Dromo Ollenu. The second album is very powerful and I believe it’s going to do powerfully well on the market,” he stated.

He made those statements, knowing perfectly that, there are a lot of new artistes on the music scene, which from his own perspective believe are doing well with their messages, rhythm and melodies depicting how grown the industry has become now.

Born forty years ago at Saltpond in the Central Region; Martin Hayford holds an HND in Marketing from Cape Coast Poly and a senior trumpeter for Daughters of Glorious Jesus and No Tribe. Find him Facebook- Martin Hayford.
