Marrying a Bishop’s son is not a guarantee of a good marriage – Ladies advised

The fact that a man is the son of a renowned Bishop is not a panacea that if any lady gets married to him, such a marriage is going to be one of the best.

Dr. Mrs Charlotte Oduro warns that the Bishop’s son is not the Bishop himself and has different temperaments compared to the Man of God and therefore attributing the characters of the former to the latter is wrong.

“He is a Bishop’s son so you are blessed to marry in that family…No! It doesn’t come close to marriage. If the man or the boy is the Bishop’s son, he is not a Bishop. He has his life, he has his temperament…you cannot say because he is coming from a good family that is why you want to marry him. Please set your priorities right” she advised in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

According to the renowned marriage counsellor, marriage is more than meet the eye and just not dependent on the material things flaunted around by both parties.

She is, therefore, urging religious leaders who have taken it upon themselves to counsel would be couple to do it properly and advise them accordingly in order to avert troubles in such marriages instead of pushing them into marrying because the other party is beautiful, handsome or rich.

“All because he has a car, he has built a house and goes to UK and back is not enough for marriage”, she cautioned.
