Marriage is tough – Oheneyere Gifty Anti

Prominent Ghanaian media personality, Oheneyere Gifty Anti, has said that marriage is not an easy thing due to the efforts one has to invest to make it successful.

She asserted that one has to be fully prepared mentally, emotionally and psychologically to make sure that all the setbacks that come with it are dealt with appropriately.

She noted that deciding to live with someone forever is very crucial in life, hence, one ought to be vigilant and cautious when choosing a partner for marriage.

Speaking in an interview with Natalie Fort on GhOne TV and monitored by GhanaWeb, Gifty shared her thoughts on what she makes of marriage.

Natalie Fort:What one word will you use to describe marriage?

Oheneyere Gifty Anti: It is tough, very tough.

Natalie Fort: What makes it so tough?

Oheneyere Gifty Anti:It takes a lot of work. It takes lots of emotions. There's a word that comes to mind. I don't know whether it will work, but it's mental dexterity. You need to be mentally prepared. Emotionally, and psychologically prepared.

It is worth noting that Gifty is married to a traditional ruler, Nana Ansah Kwao IV.

They are blessed with one baby girl.
