When Mzvee released the single, Make I Shine, many were of the view that, it was a reply to Kaakie’s Sankwas but the former says otherwise.

In an exclusive interview with Livefmghana.com, she said, no, my song is not a reply to anyone, I sing for my fans, they are the reason I am where I am today and they are those who matter.

“The thing is, Make I Shine is a motivational song, and it goes to everybody. The message is that, do not let anyone be the reason why you will not achieve your dreams, fight for it and certainly, you will find what you want.

“Many of us are surrounded by people who just want to see us fall which to me is bad and should not be encouraged plus I have no space to reply anyone on anything, my eyes are rather fixed on the prize and that is where I am investing my energy into,” she said.

Asked if she had experienced anything of sought, the Revolution singer said; “I have after all I am human and I want to succeed but for me, the people who matter are my fans.

Asked why she chose the reigning Vodafone Artiste of the Year, EL, she answered; “EL and I connect, he is like my brother in the music industry with lots of experience so I thought it wise that having him on would be an avenue where I can tap into his experience, learn and grow to do more exceedingly and abundantly more than I can Imagine and I trust that with God, all shall come to pass.”

To her fans she said; "I thank God for their support and love, I am because they are and they should know that whatever song I churn out is for them hence they should enjoy it.”
