Reggae-Danceall artiste Theophilus Nii Arday popularly known as Epixode has said that, the Musicians Union Of Ghana (MUSIGA) is working for some individuals only and not for Musicians in Ghana.

In an interview with host DJ Nyaami on 'We Dey Vybe' on SVTV Africa, the Ogbooni hit maker said, he used to pay dues to MUSIGA until he realized the union isn't working for Musicians but some individuals only.
"oh yeah, I used to pay my dues very well sometime back and I think, excuse me to say, it wasn't helping at all so I stopped. I think MUSIGA is working for some individuals only and not for musicians in Ghana. I don't know about the next artiste, but me like this, MUSIGA has not done anything for me"

Asked if he is member of MUSIGA, he said "No I'm not member, I registered and I have my card but then I have never been to their meetings, because the union isn't helping in any ways"

He added that, MUSIGA has to put proper structures in place to help Musicians get their royalties especially the veteran Musicians who has done good Music for over 50 years.

On rating the outgoing MUSIGA president Obour, on a scale of 1 - 10, Epixode, without mincing words said "No disrespect but I will give him 4 or 5. I'm saying that because, I think some of us has gotten the opportunity to go to the neighboring countries and things are done differently there than that of Ghana. I wont rate him alone though but the whole team"

Epixode tipped rapper and businessman D-Black to be the suitable person to head MUSIGA.
