MTN launches Hitmaker season 6

Giant telecommunications company MTN Ghana has launched the sixth edition of their flagship musical reality show ‘Hitmaker’ at their Headquarters in Accra.

Dubbed ‘The Next Level’ Marketing Manager of MTN Ghana Richard Acheampong revealed that this year’s competition will actively involve the use of digital platforms. A newly introduced electronic application; Hitmaker App will enable the audience to interact and follow steadily progress in the MTN Hitmaker competition.

“…We want to inspire people to take full advantage of the opportunities that exist in the digital space and so we’re putting our resources at the disposal of these budding talents to be able to make a mark especially using digital platforms. Above all we’re introducing a Hitmaker App that should make it easy for people to interact and follow what’s going on as far as Hitmaker Season 6 is concerned.” Mr. Acheampong said.

Judges for the MTN Hitmaker season 6 include Television and radio presenter, Caroline Sampson, Celebrated Ghanaian music producer Kaywa real name David Kojoj Kyei and a surprise judge to be announced soon.

The beat makers who will be working with the contestants of the competition are Richie, Kaywa and Magnom.

This year’s competition is in partnership with Huawei Ghana who have promised to incentivize the competitors on weekly basis.
