Lumba, Great Ampong collabo on Hosanna

High-life legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu (Daddy Lumba) and Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong popularly known as "The Great Ampong" are set to release their promotional single on Friday 4th September titled ‘Hosanna’.

Ampong disclosed on Pluzz FM Wednesday, that they have formed a new group called ‘Kwadwo Kwadwo.’

“We have four songs on the album coming out soon but on Friday 4th September, we are going to release the first song titled ‘Hosanna’ which is a promotional single.”

News of collaborative piece from these two great artistes has got entertainment analysts doubting the sustainability of the partnership, as groups in the industry do not stand the test of time, but Ampong assured his fans that the collaboration is for a long haul.

“I remember I was in Kumasi when a phone call came through and to my surprise it was this Legend I have always dreamt to meet. He invited me to meet him but after two years we lost contact. Thankfully I again got in touch with Daddy Lumba and this is how far we’ve come.”

According to Ampong, the song is a Thanksgiving song that Daddy Lumba wants them to set in motion after two years of falling sick and said this project will not end after the release of the full album but will be coming out with more collaboration with the Legend in no time.
