Love Connect: Couple gets romantic weekend stay at Holy Trinity Spa

A couple in Takoradi in the Western Region has won a weekend stay at the Holy Trinity Spa, a resort at Sogakope in the Volta Region, for winning the second season of Connect FM’s Love Connection, a Valentine’s Day radio reality programme.

Mr. and Mrs. Prah Bunooh beat competition from seven other couples in a two-day competition that sought to create mutual romantic relationship among married couples in the region.

It was also to rekindle love and romance among the contestants while giving them the opportunity to know each other better.

The seven couples were drilled on a wide range of issues including tango (knowing you, knowing me), information about Media General subsidiaries, Sponsors of the show and lifetime case studies on February 14.

For their prize, they received hamper from 50/50 Supermarket in Takoradi and will have a weekend getaway at Holy Trinity Spa where they will receive massage, romantic dinner, and free trip to and fro among others.

“I wasn’t in support of my husband when he told me he had picked up the forms. I thought the show was good for freshers, but six years in marriage it wasn’t going to be fun,” Mrs. Prah Bunooh told Connect FM

She added: “After the first day, I realized it was joyous and romantic so I promised my husband a win so we go to ‘Soga’ to rekindle our love”.

Her husband, Mr. Prah Bunooh said “I’m happy because the programme has confirmed that I know my wife better and she knows me better. Thanks to Connect FM for organizing such a romantic reality show ”

Mr. and Mrs. Annan picked the second spot while Mr. and Mrs Fosu came third. They took home hampers from 50/50 Supermarket in Takoradi and will receive massage from Peniel Beauty Parlour.

The acting regional manager for Media General, Ransford Nana Osei Asare said the programme offered opportunity to the participants to step out for the first time on a romantic date.

He thanked the sponsors and urged other businesses to come on board to help deepen love among couples.

The programme was sponsored by Holy Trinity Spa at Sogakope, 50/50 Supermarket in Takoradi and Peniel Massage and Beauty Parlour also in Takoradi.
