Lifestyle: Virgin Atlantic offers Christmas Dinner 35,000ft high

The Christmas season comes with a lot to be merry about and Virgin Atlantic will be giving a special treat to its passengers this festive season. The airline will be offering passengers traditional Christmas dinners on all flights to and from the UK on 24th 25th and 26th December.

The dinner will include turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes, brussel sprouts, red cabbage, pigs in blankets and gravy. Passengers travelling in Upper Class will also receive a festive cocktail of winter Pimms and mince pies and clotted cream dessert. Passengers travelling in Economy and Premium Economy from the UK will receive a mince pie and a chocolate Santa to follow on from their main meal.

Julie Southern, Chief Commercial Officer, Virgin Atlantic Airways comments: “Christmas is a busy time with many people travelling long distances to see their families and friends. We expect to carry around 38,000 passengers over this period and we are delighted to offer them some festivities onboard to get them in the mood for Christmas.
