Lexikon outdoors 'Jesus is Born'

Legendary Ghanaian Reggae act Lexikon Baanfire has nailed it again with an inspirational Christmas song 'Jesus Is Born' produced by Nature and mastered by T-bonny.

This song will blow your mind and I haven't seen much of this lyrical prowess from a local star expressed in one song.

I personally think Lexikon is the raising face of Ghanaian music and hasn't been celebrated much.

When quizzed about what inspired the song, Lexikon indicated that he was led to re-emphasize the very essence of Christmas which is to celebrate the birth of Christ and nonetheless has lost its steam over the years.

Lexikon further accentuated that the angelic virgin-birth,manger-mood and shepherd-like atmosphere has been replaced with indescriminate activities and excessive consumption and this needed to stop.

"Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and must be kept sacrosanct," he added.

"This is the best Christmas gift I have received and it's my turn to share.
Merry Christmas."
