Legends & Legacy Ball honours A. B Crentsil today

The third edition of the Legends and Legacy Ball concert is slated for the Accra International Conference Centre today Saturday November 30.

The event which was introduced two years ago is aimed at honouring Ghanaian living legends and promoting excellence in the entertainment industry.

According to the organizers, Imajin Advertising, this year’s event will honour A.B Crentsil, one of Ghana’s highlife music legends, who has contributed immensely towards the development and promotion of the Ghanaian highlife music.

The choice of A.B Crentsil came as a surprise to a section of the media, after series of media speculations that Kojo Antwi was the next person to be honoured.

The event will witness performances from Efya, Kwabena Kwabena, No Tribe, Castro, Sherifa Gunu, King Ayisoba, Koo Ntakra among others.

The first Ghanaian to have been celebrated in such grandeur fashion was Daddy Lumba and that was in 2011. With his career spanning over three decades, Lumba has blazed the Ghanaian music industry with countless hits.

Last year, which was the second edition of the event, the organisers honoured Abrantie Amakye Dede who has over 28 albums to his credit.
