Popular producer who was behind most of the popular hit songs in Ghana years back, Nana Akwasi Ansah Mensah otherwise known as AgieCoat has revealed that amongst all the popular artistes he worked with, the late Ronny Coaches of Buk Bak fame was the most difficult one.

He said the late artiste who was a member of the Buk Bak hiplife nonetheless was also an interesting personality to work with.

“Amongst the artistes I’ve managed, Ronny Coaches was the most difficult to work with but an interesting person to work with. I think because he was coming from the hiplife background he was somehow difficult to handle.” AgieCoat revealed on K-Entertainment.

He told Kojo Preko Dankwa on K-Entertainment on Kasapa FM, that the most regret in his life was when he bought the sole right of Buk Bak’s ‘Gonja Barracks’ album for Ghc39,000 (390million old cedis) and made it a hit but unfortunately for him, he was unable to recoup the amount he invested into the album.

According to him, he made less than Ghc2,000 (20million old cedis) from the promotion of the Gonja Barracks album.

“I invested so much in building the image of my artistes.”

Buk Bak’s ‘Sika Korkor’ which was produced by Agicoat Records in 2002 won three Ghana Music Awards.
