Kwaw Kese enjoys breakfast, 'kooko' on Diva’s Show

Maverick Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese was unfazed by the cameras and two other guests in TV3’s Studio B on Saturday when he appeared on 'Divas’ Show with a briefcase stuffed with porridge and a slice of bread.

To the surprise of all and sundry including viewers at home, the Abodam man drew out the kooko in a transparent polythene bag and the slice of bread and started having his breakfast.

According to him, he missed his breakfast in an attempt to get to the studio on time so had to put the 'stuff' in his briefcase.

Asked by presenter Juliet Bawuah how he could make everyone believe the bag contained business documents, the multiple-award winning musician said that is a practice not new on the streets of Accra.

Once a man’s briefcase fell open and inside was banku and okro, he said.

Known in private as Emmanuel Bochwey, the ‘Oye Nonsense’ hitman is ready with two new songs – one of which Mr Lover Lover he premiered on the show.

“It is the rebirth of Kwaw Kesse after six months of muteness,” he said, referring the hiatus that followed the murder of his manager Fennec Okyere.

His other single Ruff, according to him, is making waves on the streets already.

Kwaw Kesse, spotting a Shatta Wale-styled hair cut, hinted that his next album titled 'Forever' will be released in December this year.
