Patrons of the very-much watched Indian series in Ghana, Kukmkum Bhagya are set to welcome some of the cast into the country for a dinner.

The cast are set to arrive in the country on Thursday, November 16 and meet some of the show’s fans and watchers at the plush Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.

In a promo video, some of the popular characters including Abhi, Pragya, Alia, Tanu and others invited their Ghanaian fans to make it a point to meet them at the hotel for an unforgettable experience.

The dinner which is going to be hosted in Ghana plans to treat patrons to live band music, one on one interactions with the Kumkum Bhagya stars, a photo session and also a lot of food and drinks to eat.

An attendee of the dinner would however have to pay a fee of GHc 600 to be able to wine and dine with the Indian stars. Many people who watch the TV series would be probably unable to foot such a bill since the viewership of the program is made up mostly of petty traders, the aged and children.

Kumkum Bhagya is a series that is aired on Adom TV and has been running for a number of years now.

The program has gained massive attention from many Ghanaians since the whole series has been translated into Twi; a popular local language spoken and understood by many Ghanaians.

There have been many issues saddled to the viewing of this TV program. Some actors and actresses in the local movie industry have embarked on demonstrations to urge the appropriate bodies to stop the airing of the program because according to them, the program was slowly killing the local movie industry.
