Kumawood movie industry is not dead - Miracle Films CEO

Outstanding Ghanaian movie director and producer, Mr Samuel Nyamekye has refuted claims that the movie business in Kumasi has collapsed.

The CEO of Miracle Films on Bohye FM's Mid-Morning Show with Murphe Lee was reacting to Nana Ama Mcbrown's claim that the movie industry in Kumasi is dead.

"I will not agree with Mcbrown that the industry has collapsed. I will only agree that it's going down. Kumawood movie industry will never collapse. The fact is that the quality has gone down. We will soon rejuvenate it. Very soon we will raise the quality higher. We will soon launch a new Kumawood brand and we will all see the change."

Many industry players hold the view that the movie industry in Kumasi has collapsed which key among them is Mcbrown who recently has added her voice.
