Kula proves worthy of VGMA Unsung Nomination

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA's) Nominees Jam held at the Kumasi City Mall saw tens of thousands of patrons being thrilled by some of Ghana's finest entertainers.

Nominees from the Unsung Category were given the platform to exhibit their skills before scores of crowd gathered at the venue as well as those watching live on TV and via social media.

All contestants particularly Kula pulled a great performance when he got on stage

Starting with his hit single, Amen: a heartfelt prayer, rhythmically laced with punchlines and a catchy hook, the talented rapper did not only perform to the best of satisfaction but also with a live band, which is quite rare in Ghana.

Another song that got almost everyone in awe was based on an assumption of how things would be if the current crop of Ghanaian artistes were put in one Senior High School.

The song, arguably one of the most creative been heard in recent times landed smiles and laughter on the faces of individuals especially at a point when Kula spelt out the hilarious lyrics over live instrumentation from the Afro Harmony Band.

In conclusion, Kula's performance was remarkable, energetic, top notch and definitely worth repeating on Ghana'a biggest music night (VGMA's) come May 18 2019.
