Kufuor's closed door meeting with NPP elders

Reliable information avilable has it that the president has had to convene an emergency meeting with the NPP council of elders to address ways to curb people's perception about Addo Dankwa's drug usage even though they all can testify to the fact that it is true and can dent the party's chances of winning the election.

Insiders have revealed how the president shed tears as he addressed the gathering. And I quote in twi:

Ye nyinara nim se Addo Dankwa nom wee ene cocaine ena yegyina ho aa ma atanfo enya yen sei, eh! Wo ka bribiara kyere noa ontie. Literaly meaning:

WE ALL KNOW ADDO DANKWA IS A WEE SMOKER AND USES COCAINE, HOW CAN WE ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE RIDICULED BY OUR ENEMIES, EH! WHEN YOU TELL HIM ANYTHING HE DOESN'T LISTEN.

At the meeting were very high ranking officials who seriously expressed their misgivings about the choice of their presidential nominee.
