Kontihene jabs 5five's Pappy; Bulldog replies harshly

Hiplife musician, Kontihene has jabbed at Pappy of 55 music group for disrespecting him at an event soundcheck few years ago on today's edition of Showbiz Xtra on Happy 98.9FM hosted by Dr Cann.

Well-known for his 'stunt-purposed' insolence; Kontihene, who was on the show to discuss his just released song, rather ended up refreshing an old wound he had yet settled with Pappy (55) who was under the management of Bulldog.

With harsh words, Kontihene said (I'm one of the best performers in Africa. - Kontihene on Happy FM Ghana.

#KontiHENE - I have a history with Bulldog. I think it was same time he was managing Pappy of 5Five. I was doing soundcheck on stage; the bands-men had a personal issue and were misbehaving during the rehearsal.

#KontiHENE - I later heard they were fighting because one had snatched the other's girlfriend.

#KontiHENE - I later realized 5Five was supposed to rehearse after I finished. Pappy of 5Five, I don't think he can do music again. He is very stupid.

#KontiHENE - While I was doing my sound check. This little boy came on stage to snatch the mic from me. When these children grow and start suffering, it's because of these type of stupid behaviors that cause it.

#KontiHENE - Pappy is a child, I want to believe when I was doing music, he was wearing diapers. Because his manager was Bulldog, he had the guts to climb stage to snatch my mic?

#KontiHENE - In Nigeria, most artists excel because they respect the elders. How can I jumped on stage and snatch a microphone from someone because I feel they have been on the rehearsal stage for long. I'm not an organizer.

#KontiHENE - That's why Pappy of 5Five can't make music anymore. I asked #Pappy who he was and Bulldog stormed on stage and started shouting ' I will beat you up".

#KontiHENE couldn't stand the heat in the Happy FM studios after starting the fire with initial Pappy statements... He run! Hahahahahahahahahaha

Unfortunate for the 'Legend'; the then manager of 55, Bulldog was in the studio and could not either control his temper responded with the now popular slogan, 'WMT' live on radio.

"I'm really hurt and touch by the words from Kontihene, who has no hit song when compared to 5’5 ‘Mujey Baya’ hit song. The fact is that indeed I'm no more managing them, but I see Papy as my son and feels the pain inflicted on him by Kontihene. As Shatta Wale used in his music, Kontihene, 'Wo Maame Tw'," Bulldog's response.

The 3 'powerful' yet indecent words from Bulldog resulted in a sudden music break by host of the show Doctor Cann. And although the harm has already been caused, Bulldog respectfully admitted erring using that word on a big platform and apologized to the listenership; “I am sorry for using that word”.
