Komla Dumor Back On Air

The former host of the “Super Morning Show” on Joy FM, Komla Dumor, will be back to the programme from Monday, September 1. Komla went to the Harvard University to pursue a Masters degree in Public Administration. He has completed the course and is back to continue hosting the programme.

While he was away the programme was hosted at various times by Felix Vanderpallen, Nortey Duah and Adwoa Aidoo and the latter finally became the host of the programme. Cox Tamakloe of the Programmes Department of the station said Komla Dumor would host the programme together with Adwoa Aidoo.

According to Komla, who was voted a week ago by the Ghana Journalist Association as the Journalist of the Year, he hopes to give listeners the best. Asked if the combination with Adwoa would be a problem to him, Komla answered that it would not.

He said nobody had heard him combine with Adwoa on a programme for a long time and therefore all should listen to see how it would go. Komla told “The Mirror” that he himself was curious and was therefore looking forward to seeing how the joint hosting of the programme would be.

While Komla Dumor was the host of the “Super Morning Show”, the programme was voted by the CIMG, Radio and TV Awards as Best Morning Show and Best Radio Programme and he was named on a few occasions as the Radio Presenter of the Year.

Thus, beginning from Monday, listeners of Joy FM will begin to hear the voice of the man who has become known as the Boss Player.
