Rapper Kofi Jamar has shared an emotional pain he has been dealing with following the demise of his mother, Ohenenana Winifred Prempeh, popularly known as Oheneafrewo.
According to the musician, life has been extremely difficult since her passing, as he has been trying to stay strong while navigating the loss.
In an emotional message shared on social media on March 13, 2026, the rapper admitted that losing his mother has been one of the hardest moments of his life.
He explained that he has been doing everything possible to cope with the grief while continuing to focus on his music career.

“Since my mum died, I’ve been trying to hold on,” he shared.
Details surrounding the circumstances that led to the death of Kofi Jamar’s mother remain unclear, as the rapper has not publicly disclosed further information about her passing.
Meanwhie, Kofi Jamar has posted several photos of his late mother, including an image that captured the close bond they shared.
The musician also called on his fans, friends, and loved ones to join him and his family as they mourn the painful loss.
In addition, he has shared an obituary poster and information about his mother’s upcoming one-week observance.
The ceremony will take place at the family’s residence near the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) building in Bantama in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
According to the rapper, the one-week observance for the late Winifred Prempeh is scheduled for March 19, 2026, where relatives, friends, and sympathisers are expected to gather in her memory.
