Afrobeat artiste, Kofi Byble, who has caught the eye of music lovers with his latest single, Dangote (featuring Fameye), has landed himself three nominations at the third edition of the Eastern Music Awards.

The musician was nominated in the Afro Pop Song of the Year, Afro Pop Artiste Of The Year, as well as Music Video Of The Year categories, and is likely to face stiff competition from Bhimnation Record Signee, OV, Kwaku Gee and a host of others.

Speaking in an interview, Byble expressed excitement for the support he had received within the short time he had been on the music scene, and is hopeful of winning the various awards.

''I am very grateful, my fans and label owners are doing well for me. In this short time of my career, it has been amazing. Performing here and there, almost all major shows, one will see me on. The support has been an interesting one. I urge all my fans to go hard in this so we win'', he said.

According to him, he would go all out to prove Ghanaians and his fans that he had what it takes to succeed.

Kofi Byble's love for music began in his Junior Junior High School days. He was inspired by his father before he later met radio presenter, Dr. Duncan, who was then host of rap show, Kasahare on Adom FM.

After featuring on the show, he realized he had the talent and decided to pursue music professionally. Kofi has over the years recorded songs such as Sugar, Mama, Ye Nya Bidi, Baby Mama among others. He is currently signed on to Gheneral Empire Records.
