Hannah Marfo, one of Ghana’s female gospel musicians has been consistent with her musical work and especially making sure that the relationship she had established with her admirers and other gospel music lovers remained cemented.

Since 1992, when she launched her debut album, ‘Gyeme Gyeme’, Hannah has never relapsed or forgotten to get something new to excite lovers of gospel music.

After her previous release in 2005, Hannah Marfo has released her eighth musical album, ‘Onyame Basa’, literally meaning God’s arm.

The eight-track album, both on cassette and CD has great soul-inspiring songs which include Wo Nkoa Na Yebesom Wo, Nadom Dosoo, Bra me Nsraha mo. Others are Jesus Said, Nyame Mu Nyame, Yen Agya Wo Soro and Wo Nkoa Na Yeboson Wo, which is a praise and worship song.

Hannah in a chat with The Mirror said when she made her maiden appearance on the musical scene, she made sure she released a spirit-laden album every year to help music lovers to have a closer link with God, The Creator and to let them know that there was another person than Him. However, with time the trend changed and she started coming out bi-annually.

Hannah Marfo’s ‘Onyame Basa’, was produced by Stana Music Production, owned by her husband, Stephen Dwomoh. The cassettes and CDs are available at Stana Music shop at Katamanto in Accra, Osewus in Kumasi and other leading music shops throughout the country.
