Lovers of theater should brace themselves for yet another rib-cracking and knee slapping performance from iconic playwright, Kobina Ansah of Scribe Productions that will certainly knock them off their feet.

After successfully staging three over patronized plays with uncommon titles, Kobina Ansah is set to take his craft to another level as he unveils his new play MyWifeInLaw.

Patrons will be mesmerized by the three cast romantic comedy about a mother-in-law who interferes in her daughter’s marriage and eventually falls in love with her son-in-law.

A fine blend of humor and suspense, MyWifeInLaw will be staged at the R.S Amegashie Hall, University of Ghana Business School, Legon on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 5pm and 8pm.

Determined to serve patrons nothing but the best stage play, the talented team has been rehearsing since June after the play was launched on Facebook on May 15, 2016.

The brainchild of Scribe Productions and columnist with The Mirror newspaper, Kobina Ansah, notoriously announced his presence in theatre productions with This Family Is Not For Sale Season 1, a play which sought to convey a message that every family has got issues to deal with and has been loved for his output ever since.

Its sequel, This Family Is Not For Sale 2, highlighted how society wastes resources on funerals while his third production, I Want To Sue God! made mockery of how people literally blame God for choices they make.

While single ladies will be expecting prospective suitors to take them out on this historic day on the entertainment calendar, as Kobina Ansah a multitalented story teller and creator is poised to deliver yet another breathtaking production, the aggressive bachelors determined to make a good impression will certainly not miss this event.

Students can find no better way to welcome themselves back to campus than to see MyWifeInLaw at the R. S Amegashie auditorium of the University of Ghana on September 24 at 5pm and 8pm.

But hey, you are not left out if you ain’t a student!
