Know when to switch off your data – Counselor Ogochukwu Nweke

There’s a saying that relationships are not meant for boys. So to sustain a good relationship one needs to have the self-control and discipline to know when and when not to do certain things.

Most people want to meet and settle down with the “right” person, but the majority of romantic partnerships end in dissolution.

The cause of relationship breakup are numerous but the prevalent one in recent days is the addiction to technology.

The rate at which relationship break up these days is alarming and gradually becoming a thing of great concern both to counselors and the society at large.

Counselor and relationship expert Ogochukwu Nweke, in an interview with Ghanaweb said, “the problem is not with the technology but with the people that use the technology, he said any error that one is willing to justify is an error that, that individual cannot correct”

He said, people who lose their relationships to technology are those who lack self-control and strength of will to take decisions.
