Killer Fingers, others missing on DJ Award list

The 2014 edition of the Ghana DJ Awards scheduled to take place at the National Theatre in Accra next month is likely to come off without some celebrated Ghanaian DJs and radio personalities.

Nominations for the award released last Saturday came without some expected names of DJs believed to have worked hard during the year under review.

The likes of DJ Nii Aryee Tagoe of Joy FM, DJ Killer Fingers of YFM, Blackboy of YFM, Kwasi Aboagye, Abeiku Santana of Okay FM, and Bola Ray Joy FM among others were all missing from the nomination list which is making the rounds.

Though the reasons why they could not make it to the list is unknown, indications are that, it may be a case of “not everybody can be nominated for this year especially when they were nominated for the previous edition.”

Also, they may have not worked hard enough to merit a nomination or they did not submit their works for consideration for the year under review.
